Closer to home, the fight against Brexit has now also become the fight against Trump. While other European leaders have been quick to condemn America's descent into fascism our own Prime Minister has shamed us. This wouldn't be happening if our exit from the EU hadn't left us desperate - and if we hadn't turned our back on our great friends across the channel.
