Aiden Clarkson
Aiden Clarkson’s parents are from Ipswich in Suffolk, but he was born in Bangor, North Wales. He grew up in Leyland, Lancashire. Now he lives in South Manchester with his wife. She’s from Coventry.
From 2012–2015 Aiden taught Creative Writing at Keele University. As of early 2016 he’s in the final stages of a PhD in the same subject, at the same institution. He has an MA (dist.), ditto. He’s written a novel about Manchester and is writing another about Preston. His fiction has been published by SWAMP, The Pygmy Giant, MISO, MUSE, Litro, Metazen, etc. He has a short story forthcoming in the January issue of the Cardiff Review.
