"Two bottles of Romanov, please, sir". We start fumbling for money and when we look up there is a single bottle sitting in front of us. The man waits. Seena's voice is calm and steady: "Sir, you must have misheard me – sorry if I failed to make myself clear. We would like two bottles, please."
He stays silent, but the message is clear: he believes that, under the circumstances, even one bottle is too much, let alone two. Seena starts coaxing him: "We have people coming round tonight, sir. One bottle may not be sufficient."
