That's The Weightless World in the window of Waterstones Deansgate, bang in the middle of Manchester. We had a fantastic time there this weekend. Partly because, as is well known, Manchester rocks the hell out of any other city in Britain. Seriously. Look where we had lunch:

That's inside Manchester town hall. The most astonishing building. I got some right tasty Lancashire hotpot in there for less than £7.
Anyway, enough about the scran. Back to the books:

The main reason we were so pleased to be in Manchester is that Waterstones Deansgate did us proud. This happened:

Every book in the shop (and there were around 60 of them) disappeared, save for one lonely copy. Anthony signed and sold them all:

It was fantastic. And just the launch this wonderful book deserved. And don't worry. There are still books to buy. If you're lucky enough to live in Manchester, please drop into Waterstones and pick up a copy. And if you don't, they're in our store.
Also! Oh boy. These have arrived too:

You can order signed copies on our site right now. And if your'e free next Thursday, and in That London, please come to Waterstones Piccadilly. There's going to be a panel event with Paul, Alex Clark and Andy Miller. It's going to be all kinds of fun.
