Revisiting last year's inaugural GBP Short Story Prize: AIDEN CLARKSON

The Galley Beggar Press Short Story Prize 2016/17 is now open to submissions: And, while it is, once a week we'll be looking at last year's fabulous longlist- and shortlistees, with links to their work.

First up, from the longlist:

AIDEN CLARKSON

From 2012–2015 Aiden taught Creative Writing at Keele University. He is currently in the final stages of a PhD in the same subject, at the same institution. Aiden has written a novel about Manchester and is writing another about Preston. His fiction has been published by SWAMP, The Pygmy Giant, MISO, MUSE, Litro, Metazen, and the Cardiff Review.

Aiden’s GBP Prize 2015/16 longlisted story, The Count, can be accessed here.

Another story of Aiden’s – The Instructors – can be found, and is free to read, here.
