Francis Plug is out in the world today and he feels so real that I keep wondering how he's doing. How's he going to react when he sees his book in bookshops? What's he going to say when he finds out we've been too scared to ask him to any of the launch parties? How's he going to feel when he knows that people actually love him and he isn't half so alone as he might feel?
