Announcing Blue Pavillion

Our friends at 3AM:Press are going under a new umbrella. Here's a blog from Christiana Spens explaining:

The Blue Pavillion publish chapbooks, artists' books, essays and paperbacks, as well as fiction and poetry through their literary imprint 3:AM Press. Beginning as a collaboration with Andrew Gallix's 3:AM Magazine in the summer of 2012, in Paris, 3:AM Press went on to publish a brilliant series of novellas, poetry and short stories by acclaimed authors such as Lee Rourke, Adam Biles, Yrsa Daley-Ward and Benjamin Myers, whose titles are all available to buy through Galley Beggar's Shop.

In January 2013, the Press launched a series of chapbooks, with illustrations by Christiana Spens and edited and typeset by Susan Tomaselli, and featuring short stories by a range of debut and established writers, most recently Darran Anderson, Gerry Feehily and Francine Elena. From Cambodian travel journals to satirical tales of the 1980s London fashion scene, and from Prague in February to Thailand in December, our authors recount times of heartbreak, friendship, camaraderie and competitiveness, and most importantly, adventure. Many of these stories are also available as an anthology, Par Avion, or in limited edition chapbook.

As well as publishing literary fiction and chapbooks under the 3:AM Press imprint, The Blue Pavillion publish non-fiction and essays, such as Dylan Trigg's collection of philosophical essays, Body Parts, launched in 2013. With Christiana Spens as director and designer, Susan Tomaselli as editor and typesetter, and bringing in Darran Anderson as a new non-fiction editor, the Blue Pavillion hopes to publish more essays and pamphlets in the coming years, with new titles to be announced soon for 2015 publication.
