Short, fucked-up and truly unforgettable

That's a review of My Elvis Blackout, not the author, who is pretty much the same height as me, but otherwise fits the description.

It's another great review - both in the sense that the author, William Rycroft, loves the book, and in the sense that it's perceptive and beautifully put together. Everyone who has read My Elvis Blackout will nod in recognition at his conclusion:

It is hard to know what you might find as you go through the pages of this novel, and very hard to adequately describe the thrill and joy of reading a book that manages to be both silly and deadly serious at the same time, flippant and deadly; as volatile and entertaining a book as you're likely to read all year.

Everyone who hasn't, meanwhile, really should. It's available in our store, on Amazon, on nook and you can find it on itunes too if you hunt there. Enjoy!
